Hospital and stuffsss…

Hello!

If your asking, what happened to your blog, the answer is….. It accidentally got deleted. But it’s fixed now! :D

I’ve done quite a lot recently. Today I went to the hospital at 10 o’clock (draaag!) to have a new medicine because to make a long story short, the iron levels in my blood are too high and they need to get rid of it. I had to stick a needle in my leg and I thought it would kill and be the worst but it felt like nothing. Didn’t even know it was there (well, I did cos I put it there!! :P ) Last night I had the community nurse (Alice) come to my mums house to see me because i’ve had this hickman line infection – and I was in hospital for a few days – so she gave me antibiotics and I have to have them til tomorrow. She did a blood test too and my platelets were 5 :( but apparently the antibiotics might use them up a bit quicker. They rang at 5 to tell me i’d need some and I couldn’t wait until this morning and they said I’d need to go up at half 9 because they’d be ordered, ready and down on the ward. Guess what, half 9 comes and we still haven’t had even one platelet! The day unit staff haven’t even told the ward staff I was there :( It took til half 11 to get these platelets up anc because they take half an hour I got home at 12. So I was very tired this morning and instead of going up to have my injection thing at 9, when I was meant to, I went at quater past 5 (I think). I can’t believe I was worrying about the needle. It was nothing! Tomorrow I have to go back to school because I’ve not been for a few. On Monday when nurse Anna came she told me I shouldn’t have gone in on Monday and to have the day off on Tuesday :D And if I wasn’t at the hospital today i’d of been at school. But oh well.

Tomorrow Alice will come and see me to do my antibiotic (at school) and she’ll come round after school to do my injection again (I need it 3 times a week!!). It normally should last 108 hours, but today was just a test, and it took 3 hours.

I’ll probably blog tomorrow. See you then
